New Asian Buddhist History Translation Series
(新亞洲佛教史翻譯)
CHIBS designated a project to translate the “New Asian Buddhist History Translation Series” by negotiating a contract with Kosei Shuppan to translate selected contemporary Buddhist research monographs published by the Dharma Drum Mountain Books and Reference for the Chinese readers. There are three major sections in this series: India, China, and Japan, and yet Central Asia, Southeast Asia, Vietnam, and Korea are also covered to discuss all Theravada, Chinese, and Tibetan Buddhist traditions. In addition to Buddhist doctrines, relevant disciplines such as language, folk traditions, literature, art, and archaeology are also included to present more diversified aspects of Buddhism.
